Agency Kitchen Assistant - Kettering

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistants to join our agency team, supporting a variety of client sites across Kettering. This is a flexible role ideal for individuals looking for part-time or full-time hours, with shifts available in schools, care homes, and commercial kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends where required
• Food hygiene certificate (preferred but can be arranged)
