Accounts Assistant - Office-based in Langley / Slough Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm


The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to provide financial and administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a fully office-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting business operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring invoices, pricing, and orders are processed correctly while supporting reporting and day-to-day financial administration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice management
    Prepare, update, and process invoices, ensuring all information is accurate and in line with company procedures

  • Chasing proformas and outstanding items
    Follow up with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure proformas are confirmed and payments are received on time

  • Sales pricing updates
    Maintain and update pricing within internal systems, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of changes

  • Order review and processing
    Check customer and supplier orders for accuracy, including pricing, quantities, and documentation before processing

  • Reporting
    Assist in preparing financial and operational reports, including sales, invoicing, order tracking, and pricing analysis

  • Reconciliations and record keeping
    Support the maintenance of accurate financial records, identifying and resolving discrepancies where required

  • COO support
    Provide day-to-day administrative and financial support, ensuring information is well organised and deadlines are met


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an accounts, finance, Credit control
  • Good understanding of invoicing and order processing systems
  • Experience using SAGE 200 (or similar accounting software)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Confident using Excel and business systems
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly when chasing payments or documentation
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Professional, reliable, and able to handle confidential information

Reporting Line
