As a care home chef, you'll have the opportunity to cook with purpose-creating meals that truly make a difference.

You will:

• Prepare and serve nutritious, home-style meals tailored to residents' needs
• Cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and specialised nutrition plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
• Deliver high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Enhanced Adult DBS (or willingness to apply - we'll cover the cost)
• Food Hygiene & Health and Safety certifications
• At least 1 year of chef/cook experience
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and manual handling
• A caring, patient, and reliable attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery
• City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2
• Level 3 Food Safety
• Culinary qualifications (BTEC, HND, or equivalent)
