Catering Assistant - School Setting (Barnstaple)

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join a busy school kitchen in Barnstaple. This is a fantastic opportunity to work term-time hours in a supportive environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 14:00

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy lunch service
• Basic food handling and stock rotation

Requirements:

• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
