Kitchen Porter - Temporary Ongoing

Location: Staffordshire countryside (own transport required)

Pay Rate: £12.93 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Temporary Ongoing Kitchen Porter on behalf of a well-established hospitality client based in a stunning rural location.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who is looking to gain experience within a professional kitchen environment.

The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in supporting the kitchen team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean all kitchen equipment including pots, pans, crockery, and utensils
• Follow cleaning schedules and maintain hygiene standards at all times
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly
• Keep pot wash and storage areas clean and organised
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors at the end of each shift
• Empty and clean bins regularly throughout the day
• Support the wider kitchen team where required

About You

Essential:

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role (not essential)

• 40 hours per week

• Due to location, own transport is essential
