Electrician

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for Electricians on behalf of a public sector client based in Stirling. This is a long-term opportunity with immediate starts available.

• Pay Rate: £17.39 - £19.17 per hour (depending on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Role Overview

You will carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work across housing properties, ensuring all work meets current regulations and safety standards. The role involves working within occupied properties and delivering a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work
• Support a multi-trade service where required
• Work in tenanted properties on upgrades, rewires and refurbishments
• Install and repair systems such as alarms and door entry
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and electrical regulations
• Liaise with tenants to provide a customer-focused service
• Complete job documentation and report progress to supervisors
• Participate in an out-of-hours standby/on-call rota

Requirements

Essential:

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship (e.g. SELECT, CITB or equivalent)
• Experience in repairs, maintenance and construction work
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience working in a multi-trade environment
• Additional trade skills

Working Conditions

• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including occupied homes
• Tasks may involve working at height or in confined spaces
• Flexibility required for overtime and emergency call-outs
