ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH COORDINATOR

East Lothian | £32K-£38K | Full-Time

We're on the hunt for a sharp, organised Order Processing & Dispatch Coordinator to join a leading fresh produce business in East Lothian.

You'll be at the heart of a buzzing packhouse operation - making sure orders are spot-on, stock is allocated smartly, and deliveries go out like clockwork. If you love keeping things running smoothly and get a kick out of nailing the details, keep reading.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

• £32,000 - £38,000 salary (we reward experience)
• 28 days holiday (pro rata)

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

• Process retailer orders via email, ERP (Tropos) & EDI systems
• Allocate stock & work closely with the packing team
• Build pallets to spec & keep dispatch records bang-on accurate
• Book hauliers, manage delivery slots & fix problems fast
• Keep traceability tight from order to dispatch
• Monitor stock levels (trays, pallets) & arrange replenishment
• Support production planning & keep stock sheets up to date
• Chip in wherever needed - we're a team!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Experience with ERP systems & EDI platforms (Tropos is a bonus)
• Solid Excel skills - you're comfortable wrangling data
• Organised, calm under pressure & solution-focused
• Great communicator - hauliers, depots, internal teams, you've got it covered
• Sharp eye for detail (especially stock control & paperwork)
• Clued up on food hygiene & H&S basics
• Own transport (essential - rural site)
• Reliable & flexible (occasional weekends during peak times)

THE HOURS

• 40 hours/week - schedule agreed with Head of Dispatch & Logistics
• Flexibility needed (including occasional weekends)
• Overtime available during peak seasons
