Forklift Operator

Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to join our clients growing re-manufacturing team based in the Llanelli area.

Salary: £14.50ph

Hours of work: Day shifts 40 hours pw

Contract: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for making sure all material movements are carried out in a timely manner, ensuring that production is efficient and to a high standard
• Move, load, unload, and stack goods within warehouses
• Checking deliveries
• Maintaining accurate stock records
• Good knowledge of UK health and safety regulations
• Work efficiently as part of a team
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment

Skills required:

• Proven experience within a factory/ workshop environment
• Sound knowledge of Forklift maintenance and safety checks
• The ability to multitask
• Outstanding time management and communication skills
• Full clean driving license
• RTITB counterbalance License
• Flexibility & self-motivation
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment
