Pay : £13.00ph

Location: Ridgmont, Bedford

Start Date: 8th June

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Role Overview

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operatives to support cleaning operations within an Amazon warehouse facility in Ridgmont. The warehouse is currently being dismantled, so cleaning duties will focus on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness across key areas rather than full warehouse cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

• Toilet Cleaning - Regular cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Canteen Cleaning - Wiping surfaces, sanitising tables, emptying bins, and ensuring a clean break environment.
• Reception Cleaning - Maintaining a tidy and welcoming entrance area.
• Office Cleaning - Dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, and sanitising desks and touchpoints.
• Warehouse Cleaning - Light cleaning only, as the warehouse is in the process of being dismantled.
• Ensuring all work is completed to site standards and health & safety guidelines.
• Reporting any issues, hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Safety‑focused approach when working in an active warehouse environment.
