💷 Pay: £13.97 - £32.55 per hour (depending on shift pattern)

📄 Contract: Temporary ongoing

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 5 days over 7 (including weekends and bank holidays)

Training

  • Full-time (37.5 hours per week) for 4 weeks
  • 100% attendance required during training

Working as part of a 24/7 operation, you'll play a vital role in providing critical services where speed, accuracy and clear communication can save lives.

This team supports:

  • Emergency calls (999/112)
  • Directory enquiries (118500)
  • Relay UK services

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals during urgent and often distressing situations. You'll remain calm, gather key information and ensure callers are directed to the correct emergency service quickly and efficiently.

This is more than a call handling role - it's an opportunity to make a genuine impact every single shift.


What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who can:

  • Communicate clearly and empathetically under pressure
  • Think critically and follow structured processes
  • Type at least 50 words per minute with 98% accuracy
  • Stay composed in emotionally challenging situations

Shift Patterns

  • Four-week rotating rota
  • Shifts between 08:00 and 23:00
  • Includes weekend work and rest days

Training will be full-time and may include both morning and evening sessions.
