Location: Various locations in Birmingham

Hours: Monday to Friday from 3/3.30pm-6/6.30pm

15 hours a week

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

Working within a school environment, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic setting for students and staff.

Typical duties include:

• Cleaning communal areas, hallways, offices, classrooms, canteens, toilets
• Sanitising high‑touch surfaces and ensuring infection control standards are met
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
• Maintaining cleanliness in staff areas and facilities
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
• Working to strict hygiene and safeguarding procedures

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school
• Good understanding of COSHH
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
• Safeguarding training - Blue Arrow can provide this if needed.
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis
