About The Role:
We're currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics Operative for our client based in Newton Aycliffe
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should have a full UK driving license, be over 25 for insurance purposes and have no more than 6 points
Duties:
- Pick, pack, receive, and store goods while maintaining accurate stock records and a safe, organised warehouse
- Daily deliveries to business's in the local area - please note this only amounts to around 50% of the role so you will be expected to complete other duties around the warehouse
- Load/unload vehicles and prepare orders for dispatch efficiently and securely
- Complete deliveries on time, ensuring safe transport, good customer service, and adherence to road regulations
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and follow company driving/health & safety procedures
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and support general warehouse operations
- Complete all tasks with care and attention to detail
- Be able to lift up to 20kg on a regular basis
Rate:
- £12.71ph
Hours:
- Monday-Friday
- Day shift only
