Van Delivery Driver - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: DE7 4QU

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + holiday pay

Contract: 13‑week temp to perm

We are recruiting a Van Delivery Driver to work for a leading logistics client, delivering products to the building and construction industry. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking to progress into an HGV career through a structured and fully supported training pathway.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Approx. 10‑hour shifts
• Start time: Around 06:00

The Role

• Van deliveries to customers within the building and construction sector
• Following planned delivery routes
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Supporting general depot and delivery duties as required

This role is an excellent entry point for drivers looking to upskill to HGV. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through a driver academy, supporting newer drivers into the logistics industry with:

• Fully supported HGV training
• Guidance from highly skilled and experienced training teams
• A clear pathway from van driver to HGV driver

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• A positive, can‑do attitude
• Willingness to study and learn the requirements for HGV certification and training
• Commitment to developing within the role
