Transport Administrator Job - DE7 4QU | Permanent Logistics Role
We are recruiting a Transport Administrator for a market‑leading logistics company based in DE7 4QU, working on one of the UK's largest contracts supplying the construction industry.
This is a permanent, full‑time position offering stable hours and long‑term career development within a high‑volume transport operation.
Salary & Hours
- Salary: £24,784.00 per annum
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Working Time: 08:00 - 16:00
- Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours
- Break: 30 minutes unpaid
Transport Administrator Responsibilities
- Acting as a key point of contact for drivers and customers
- Responding to and resolving operational queries to keep the transport plan on schedule
- Supporting the transport team with general administrative duties
- Updating transport systems and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with day‑to‑day transport coordination and communication
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in transport administration or logistics is desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to react quickly in a fast‑paced environment
- Confident using IT systems and handling multiple tasks
