<h2><strong>Job Title: Industrial Cleaner</strong></h2><p><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week (flexible, including weekends and overtime as required)</p><hr /><h3><strong>Role Overview</strong></h3><p>The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the packhouse environment. This is a hands-on role focused on deep cleaning machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.</p><hr /><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Clean machinery, equipment, and production areas to required hygiene standards</li><li>Carry out deep cleaning of floors, walls, and surfaces within the packhouse</li><li>Ensure correct use of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment</li><li>Follow and adhere to PPE requirements at all times</li><li>Complete cleaning checklists and records to meet audit standards</li><li>Maintain cleanliness in communal areas such as toilets, canteen, and changing rooms</li><li>Keep work areas, walkways, and storage areas clean and free from waste</li><li>Monitor cleaning chemical levels and report any shortages or equipment faults</li><li>Support general site cleaning, including external areas where required</li><li>Comply with all health &amp; safety and food hygiene regulations</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Experience in industrial or heavy-duty cleaning (preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hygiene practices</li><li>Good knowledge of health &amp; safety and PPE requirements</li><li>Ability to work independently and maintain high standards</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and hardworking</li><li>Good attention to detail</li><li>Access to transport is preferred</li></ul><p> </p><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
