<p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Internal Account Manager -  (Gravesend)</strong></p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Location:</strong> Gravesend (Office-based)<br /><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time</p><div><hr /></div><h3>About the Role</h3><p class="isSelectedEnd">We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused office based Account Manager to join our Packaging &amp; Components sales team based in Gravesend.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd">This is an account management-focused role where you'll build and maintain strong customer relationships, manage incoming enquiries, and support sales growth through excellent service and account development. <strong>Please note: this role does not include commission or bonus schemes there is no cold calling as such pure account mangement.</strong></p><p class="isSelectedEnd">You'll also play a part in supporting wider commercial activities such as market research and contributing ideas towards new product development, helping the business stay ahead of customer needs and market trends.</p><div><hr /></div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><h4>Sales &amp; Customer Support</h4><ul data-spread="false"><li>Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business</li><li>Handle incoming enquiries and follow up on prospective customer activity from the external sales team</li><li>Convert sales leads into orders through proactive communication and follow-up</li><li>Identify opportunities for account growth through upselling and cross-selling</li><li>Collaborate closely with field sales teams to ensure a joined-up customer approach</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system</li></ul><h4>Marketing &amp; Product Development</h4><ul data-spread="false"><li>Conduct outbound calls to existing customers to promote products and services</li><li>reaserching leads and passing to field team</li><li>Support marketing campaigns and new product initiatives</li><li>Provide feedback on customer needs, product performance, and market demand</li><li>Work with marketing to help deliver effective campaigns</li><li>Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and product innovations</li><li>Share customer insights with commercial and product teams</li></ul><h4>Collaboration &amp; Coordination</h4><ul data-spread="false"><li>Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service delivery</li><li>Contribute to monthly sales reviews and performance tracking</li><li>Support continuous improvement in processes and customer experience</li></ul><div><hr /></div><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul data-spread="false"><li>Experience in account management role, ideally within packaging, trade, or B2B environments</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships over phone and email</li><li>Commercial awareness and interest in market trends</li><li>Comfortable working towards sales targets and KPIs</li><li>Well-organised, self-motivated, and confident using IT systems (Outlook, Excel, CRM)</li></ul><p class="isSelectedEnd"> </p><div><hr /></div><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul data-spread="false"><li>Company pension scheme</li><li>Company-funded medical cash plan</li><li>Long service awards and enhanced pension contributions</li><li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Complimentary tea, coffee, and fresh fruit in the office</li></ul><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
