HGV Class 1 Drivers - Days

Location: LE14 3NQ

New passed welcome and supported!

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for Day shifts & Tramping.

This is a great opportunity for both experienced drivers and newly qualified (new pass) Class 1 drivers looking for reliable, full‑time work with competitive pay.

Comprehensive training and on‑site support are available, making this role ideal for drivers starting their Class 1 career.

Pay Rates and Benefits

• £16.50 per hour - HGV Class 1 Day shifts
• £18.20 per hour - HGV Class 1 Night shifts
• Holiday pay accrued on top of hourly rate

Shift Information

• Days & Trampers: 06:00 start times
• Nights: 18:00 start times
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Average 48 hours per week

The Role

• Nationwide HGV Class 1 deliveries and collections
• Transporting Toyota forklift trucks to customer sites
• Loading vehicles using pick lists
• Unloading at delivery locations and loading return collections
• Handling a variety of loads in different sizes and configurations
• Maintaining compliance with drivers' hours, tachograph rules, and health and safety procedures

Driver Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Newly qualified / new pass drivers welcome
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card
• FLT licence required (training can be provided if not already held)
• Positive attitude and strong focus on safety and professionalism
