Monday to Friday | 07:00 - 16:00

£12.71 per hour

Ongoing temporary role with full-time hours

About the Role

This is a varied and active warehouse position within a cold store environment, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

You'll be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from goods-in to dispatch, with full training provided-including MHE truck operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading pallets
• Inspecting and checking orders before packing and dispatch
• Emptying blasts
• Ensuring pallets are correctly labelled and accounted for
• Adhering to food safety standards and site procedures
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
• Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment (full training provided)

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience (cold-store experience highly desirable)
• Experience with manual handling and mechanical handling equipment
• Counterbalance forklift experience (preferred, not essential)
• Confident using Microsoft packages and warehouse management systems
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Positive, "can-do" attitude
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment

Please note: manual handling is required, with boxes weighing up to 25kg (most are around 10kg).

PPE & Training

Safety boots and hi-vis vests are required on site and can be provided. You'll receive full training from an experienced Warehouse Operative to set you up for success.
