School Receptionist

Location: Birmingham

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-3.45pm

Start Date: Immediate

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an experienced receptionist to join a school in Birmingham.

We are seeking a reliable and punctual individual with strong administrative skills who can support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy school office and attendance team

Job role includes:

• Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents and pupils. Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
• Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls, emails, and messages
• Handle pupil arrivals and departures, including late arrivals and early collections. Support in maintaining student and staff records
• Carry out general office duties such as filing, photocopying, printing, and data entry

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working in a school office as part of the administration/receptionist team
• Proven experience with ParentPay and SIMS
• Strong IT and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Enhanced DBS certificate (issued within the last 12 months or registered on the update service)
