Class 1 ADR driver

Blue Arrow are recruiting for a Class 1 ADR driver to fill shifts across multiple clients, call the Blue Arrow Bellshill office to find out the clients and more information

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Driving HGVs to deliver dangerous goods (e.g., fuels, chemicals) while complying with ADR safety protocols.
• Loading/Unloading: Filling and discharging tankers, ISO tanks, or packages at customer sites.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensuring all documentation is accurate, including consignment notes, tachographs, and vehicle defect reports.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting daily vehicle checks, coupling/uncoupling trailers, and reporting any damage or malfunctions.
• Safety Adherence: Strictly following site-specific safety regulations and protocols to prevent incidents.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• License: Full HGV Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Certification: Valid ADR training certificate (often tanks/packages).
• CPC: Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Experience: Proven experience (often 2+ years) in Class 1 driving and tanker work.
• Skills: Strong communication, focus on safety, and flexibility with working hours.
