🥪 College Catering Assistant - Term Time Only 🍴

📍 Location: Leek

🕒 Monday to Friday (term time only)

⏰ Hours: 9am - 2pm

💷 Pay: £12.71 per hour

We're currently recruiting Catering Assistants to support a college in Leek. This role is ideal if you're returning to work, balancing family commitments, or simply looking for steady part-time hours during term time.

To work in a college environment, you'll need an Enhanced DBS check. If you don't already have one, we can support you with the application.

🧾 What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks
• Serving students and staff during lunch service
• Operating tills
• Clearing and cleaning tables and dining areas
• Unpacking and storing deliveries
• Washing dishes and maintaining clean kitchen areas
• Following food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Providing friendly, efficient customer service

✅ What we're looking for:

• Food Hygiene Level 1 (dated within the last 12 months)
• Willingness to help with cleaning and general kitchen duties
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clear communication skills
• Reliable, motivated, and hard‑working
• Previous catering experience is helpful but not essential
