🕒 Days: Monday to Friday (term time only)

⏰ Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm

💷 Pay: £12.71 per hour

We are recruiting Catering Assistants to support a busy college catering team in Stafford. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to return to work, fit work around family life, or enjoy regular daytime hours with evenings and weekends free.

No previous catering experience is required. If you're reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

To work in an educational environment, you will need an Enhanced DBS check. If you don't currently have one, we can support you with the application process.

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks
• Operating tills during busy lunch periods
• Clearing and cleaning tables and dining areas
• Unpacking and storing deliveries
• Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Providing a friendly and professional service to students and staff

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Food Hygiene Level 1 (within the last 12 months)
• Willingness to help with cleaning and general kitchen duties
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clear communication skills and awareness of reporting procedures
• Reliable, motivated, and hard-working attitude
• Previous catering experience is beneficial but not essential
