Nightshift Production Operator

Location: Kirriemuir

Hours: 10pm - 6am, Sunday to Thursday

Pay Rate: £15.25 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Blur Arrow are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Nightshift Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long‑term, stable work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Please note: This role involves heavy lifting, so you must be physically fit and comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Removing finished goods from production machines
• Ensuring all completed products are stored in the correct dispatch locations
• Recording and reporting any machine faults, defects, or irregularities
• Loading and unloading materials as required
• Assisting with basic machine setup and changeovers
• Conducting routine quality checks on products
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards
• Supporting the wider production team to meet nightly targets
• Following all company procedures and safety guidelines
• Completing relevant paperwork and production logs accurately

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• A forklift licence is desirable but not essential
