Chef de Partie - New Milton - Up to £27,500

The Role

A talented Chef de Partie is required for a well‑established leisure venue in New Milton, right on the edge of the beautiful New Forest and close to the coast. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, motivated kitchen team producing fresh, high‑quality dishes.

Please note: This is a live‑in position. Local candidates are required.

The kitchen operates sensible hours, typically 40 hours per week on straight shifts. Any hours worked over 40 are paid overtime, offering a fair and refreshing work‑life balance.

  • Salary: Up to £27,500 + tips
  • Hours: 5 days out of 7, straight shifts (typically 12pm-9pm)
  • Location: New Milton, with easy access to the seafront and New Forest
  • Live‑in: Not available

Duties Include

  • Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operations
  • Delivering consistent, high‑quality dishes
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen
  • Assisting with dietary requirements and customer needs
  • Responding to feedback and helping adapt menus where required
  • Contributing to creative menu development for adults and children
  • Carrying out any reasonable tasks requested by management

What You Need

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
  • NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent culinary qualification
  • Experience working with fresh produce to a high standard
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and progress
