Are you an experienced chef ready to step into a leadership role? Passionate about fresh, quality food and motivating a kitchen team to deliver at the highest level?

We're looking for a strong, hands-on Sous Chef to join our vibrant, fast‑paced restaurant at Poole Leisure Site. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fresh food menu, support the Head Chef, and help lead a busy, dynamic kitchen operation.

Your Schedule

• Hours: 45 hours per week
• Days: 5 days out of 7
• Shifts: A mix of straight and split shifts
• Service: 200+ covers on busy days - fast‑paced and rewarding

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Head Chef in the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
• Leading services and deputising in the Head Chef's absence
• Preparing and delivering fresh, seasonal dishes to a high standard
• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and allergen compliance
• Training, motivating, and developing junior chefs
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and waste management

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team
• Calm and organised under pressure in a high‑volume environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for fresh, high‑quality food
