About the Role
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Derry/Londonderry. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef looking to take the next step in their career within a professional and supportive environment.
You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, consistent food while helping to lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Supervise and motivate junior kitchen staff
- Assist with menu development and seasonal changes
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety regulations
- Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie
- Passion for fresh, high-quality food
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends
