<h2>Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Family-Run Business, Derby</h2><p>Pay: £14.50 per hour</p><p>Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm</p><p>Location: Derby</p><p>Contract: Temporary with the potential to go permanent for the right person</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>We're recruiting for a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well‑established, family‑run business in Derby. You'll be working in a close‑knit team within a busy warehouse environment where attention to detail and safe working practices are essential.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Operating a counterbalance forklift in confined warehouse spaces</li><li>Loading and unloading large, bespoke products onto lorries</li><li>Handling goods that are high‑value and fragile, requiring exceptional care</li><li>Supporting general warehouse duties as needed</li><li>Shrink wrapping &amp; strapping products </li><li>Following all health &amp; safety procedures at all times</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence</li><li>Experience operating in tight/limited spaces is highly beneficial</li><li>Confident handling large or unusual loads</li><li>Reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to work well as part of a small team</li><li>Keen to secure a long‑term opportunity</li></ul><h3>What's on Offer</h3><ul><li>£14.50 per hour</li><li>Monday-Friday daytime hours - no weekends</li><li>Supportive, family‑run working environment</li><li>Opportunity to go permanent based on performance</li></ul><p> </p><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
