Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Family-Run Business, Derby

Pay: £14.50 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Location: Derby

Contract: Temporary with the potential to go permanent for the right person

About the Role

We're recruiting for a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well‑established, family‑run business in Derby. You'll be working in a close‑knit team within a busy warehouse environment where attention to detail and safe working practices are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift in confined warehouse spaces
• Loading and unloading large, bespoke products onto lorries
• Handling goods that are high‑value and fragile, requiring exceptional care
• Supporting general warehouse duties as needed
• Shrink wrapping & strapping products
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times

About You

• Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Experience operating in tight/limited spaces is highly beneficial
• Confident handling large or unusual loads
• Reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to work well as part of a small team
• Keen to secure a long‑term opportunity
