🔑 What You'll Be Doing

👥 Lead, Inspire & Grow Your Team

  • Coach, motivate, and develop a team of Desk-Based Account Managers to exceed targets
  • Run regular 1:1s, support career development, and celebrate success
  • Create a high-energy, collaborative, and results-driven team culture
  • Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement

📈 Drive Sales & Customer Success

  • Oversee key customer accounts and ensure outstanding service delivery
  • Optimise sales processes - from enquiry to conversion
  • Identify growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling
  • Work closely with external sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting

💡 Influence Marketing & Product Strategy

  • Support outbound campaigns and new product launches
  • Turn customer feedback into actionable insights
  • Collaborate with marketing to maximise campaign impact
  • Keep your team informed on market trends, competitors, and innovations

🤝 Collaborate Across the Business

  • Act as a key link between sales, logistics, production, and finance
  • Contribute to sales strategy and monthly performance reviews

🎯 What We're Looking For

You're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves leading from the front.

Essential:

  • sales/account management
  • leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness and target-driven mindset
  • Confident using CRM systems, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proactive, organised, and customer-focused

Desirable:

  • Experience in construction, building materials, or B2B sectors
  • Knowledge of working with merchants, contractors, or developers
