Are you passionate about delivering exceptional events and creating unforgettable guest experiences? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager to join our beautiful manor house hotel, known for its charm, character, and outstanding service.


About the Venue

Our elegant manor house hotel prides itself on its warm hospitality, picturesque surroundings, and versatile event spaces perfect for weddings, private dining, celebrations, and corporate gatherings. With over 90 weddings a year, this is a vibrant and rewarding environment for a confident events professional.


The Role

As Conference & Banqueting Manager, you will play a hands-on leadership role, coordinating closely with the sales team and acting as the primary point of contact for clients. You'll ensure every event runs seamlessly-from intimate celebrations to large-scale conferences-while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service every step of the way.

You will be the face of the hotel during events, ensuring every detail is executed to perfection.


🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Personally manage and oversee all conference and banqueting operations
  • Liaise with clients throughout the planning process to understand their needs and exceed expectations
  • Lead, train, and motivate the C&B team to deliver outstanding service
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen, events, and front-of-house teams for seamless event delivery
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety

👤 About You

  • Previous experience in a similar C&B role within a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or high-end event venue
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and client-management abilities
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering memorable experiences
  • Calm, flexible, and hands‑on, even in high‑pressure environments
