About the Role:
We are currently recruiting a CNC Miller/Turner based in the Tyne and Wear area. The successful candidate will be proficient in programming, setting, and operating CNC Mazak machinery.
My client is a well‑established precision engineering company, specialising in the manufacture of high‑quality machined components for a range of industrial sectors. With a strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement, the business has built a solid reputation for delivering to exacting standards and supporting long‑term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting, and operating a Mazak multitasking machine
- Programming directly from engineering drawings
- Machining high-precision components in a sub‑contract manufacturing environment
- Quality inspection after each completed job
- Working with both milling and turning operations
- Ensuring components meet tight tolerances and quality standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement and efficient production processes
Salary:
- £39k per annum
- Time and a half overtime
Role:
- Monday-Thursday
- 40hrs per week
- Full time only
- Permanent job
