Paint Sprayer

Bluearrow are recruiting for our client a qualified/experienced aircraft painter a leading aerospace MRO facility in Blackwood, Gwent, who specialize in the repair and overhaul of commercial aircraft thrust reversers and nacelles, supporting the EMEA region with OEM, UKCAA, and EASA-approved repairs.

💼 Starting Salary: £28,000 per annum

➕ Plus shift allowance (£82.76/week) & overtime opportunities

🕒 Working Hours:

• Initial Training Period:
  • Monday to Friday: 6am - 2pm or 7am - 3pm
• Post-Training Shift Pattern:
  • 2 Weeks Days: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
  • 1 Week Afternoons:
    • Monday - Thursday: 1.45pm - 9.45pm
    • Friday: 11.45am - 7.45pm
• Overtime Available:
  • Once trained, overtime may be offered before/after shifts and on Saturday mornings

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Mix and apply sealants, fillers, primers, and top coats to aircraft parts
• Perform masking and cosmetic filling operations
• Prepare surfaces for painting with high attention to detail
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and project work
• Maintain documentation and ensure airworthiness standards

📋 Requirements:

• Previous aircraft painting experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• High attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Basic arithmetic and computer literacy
• Team player with flexibility to support varying shift patterns
