Location Thornton - Post code FY7
Working hours: Average 37.8 hours per week, 12 hour shifts, 5 shift system, 24/7
6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am - 2 days, 2 nights on 7 cycles followed by an 18day break.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Maintenance of the waste treatment facility assets and associated infrastructure, including operational monitoring of functional odour abatement systems and the SCADA system.
- Fault Finding and repairs
Required Skills / Qualifications Required:
- Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics
Engineering) to ONC/HNC Level
- Ability to effectively manage work schedules in a timely manner
- Provide evidence of working to deadlines and under pressure
- Evidence of working in an organised manner
- Evidence of using effective problem-solving techniques
- Effective communicator at all levels both written and verbally.
- Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of the Waste processing industry
- Detailed knowledge of waste processing plant, machinery and associated systems or FMCG Chemical and industrial industries.
- Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications
- Knowledge of Siemens systems
