The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Cleaning and sanitising wards, corridors, and clinical areas</li><li>Maintaining high standards of infection control and hygiene</li><li>Safe handling and disposal of waste, including clinical waste</li><li>Cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas</li><li>Operating cleaning equipment and using appropriate cleaning materials</li><li>Ensuring all areas are kept clean, tidy, and hazard-free</li><li>Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and hygiene products</li><li>Following all hospital health and safety procedures</li></ul>Essential Requirements<ul><li>Must be able to comply with uniform policy at all times</li><li>Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards</li><li>Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic</li></ul>Desirable (but not essential)<ul><li>Previous experience in a domestic, cleaning, or healthcare setting</li><li>Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures</li></ul>RecCoLisburn
