Agriculture Inspector Grade 3 - Dungannon

Our client, A Large public sector organisation, in looking for an Agriculture Inspector Grade 3 in DUngannon to join their team.

Duration: October with possible extension

Rate of pay: £19.59

Location: Dungannon

Hours: The normal conditioned hours of work are full-time: 42 hours per week which includes a 1-hour meal break (37 hours net) Monday to Friday; 9 am to 5 pm. The duties of the post may involve some work outside normal office hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays Ireland Appointee must hold a current, valid driving licence and have access to a form of transport which will enable them to fulfil their responsibilities.

Main Duties:

· Provide support to management and colleagues in AfIB Meat and Eggs section

· Collation, review and reporting of various data

· Organise team meetings/take minutes · User testing of developing IT solutions

· Maintain section pages on DAERA website

· Review/revise procedures and provide training day for team members

· Inspection work, as required · Deputise for line management as required

· Maintain training logs for the section

Essential Criteria:

1. At least an Honours degree (2.2 classification) or an equivalent qualification in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Agricultural Technology or closely related subject*.

AND

2. A minimum of two year's relevant post-qualification experience working in the agricultural industry or related industries**

AND

3. A full and current driving licence enabling the licence holder to drive a car in Northern Ireland.
