Over the years Blue Arrow has worked hard to successfully place temporary staff into roles within Co-op’s 11 regional distribution centres and its national distribution centre. With two peak volume periods in the year, Summer and Christmas, along with varying peaks in demand due to sporting events and weather conditions, placing the right staff into the right roles is imperative to ensuring supply and demand needs are met at all times.
Working at Co-op is an opportunity to be a part of something different. Co-op is more than just a business, not only is it owned by its millions of members, not big investors, but it is also committed to doing work that makes a difference to the communities they trade in.
As a Co-op colleague you will be working in a business that’s building a brighter future for its members, customers, colleagues and local communities. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow.
Is Co-op a good fit for you?
Co-op strive to build a workforce that is diverse and inclusive, embracing people from all walks of life and backgrounds because not only is it important that the Co-op colleague teams represent the diverse communities in which they serve but what makes each of us different is what makes each of us great.
This proactive approach to diversity and inclusion creates a working environment where people are respected, included and celebrated for the things that make them different. You can be sure that as a Co-op colleague, your talents, beliefs, abilities and differences will be nurtured, embraced and celebrated.
Are you a good fit for Co-op?
You will be a great fit for this role if you are upbeat, self-motivated, and enjoy working systematically and productively. The fast paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency and while you will be using a mini forklift for many of your duties, with so much ground to cover it is important to ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to carry out your tasks comfortably.
