We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our clients logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed lorries equipped with a Hiab crane, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. Responsibilities* Safely operate a Class 2 flatbed lorry fitted with a Hiab crane to load, unload, and deliver goods* Conduct pre-operational checks on the vehicle and crane to ensure safety and compliance with regulations* Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and optimise fuel consumption* Secure loads properly using appropriate restraints to prevent movement during transit* Assist with loading and unloading cargo, adhering to health and safety standards* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs* Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery times or any issues encountered during transit* Adhere strictly to all road safety laws and company policies throughout all operations Experience* Familiarity with operating a flatbed lorry with a Hiab crane is highly desirable* Valid Class 2 driving licence is mandatory along with CPC and DIGI card Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
