HGV Class 2 Driver - Airline Catering Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31st October 2026Location: London Gatwick AirportPay rate: £18.87 p/hHours: Full time - Shifts will operate between 5am-11pm and you must be fully flexible for any shifts between these hours across the week. Weekend working is expected Blue Arrow is actively seeking HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join a busy and fast‑paced airline catering operation at Gatwick Airport. As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring catering and goods are delivered safely and on time to airline customers, in line with strict schedules. The RoleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be working in both airside and non‑airside areas of the operation. Your duties will include:<ul><li>Collecting and loading bar sets and catering equipment onto 17‑tonne rigid vehicles</li><li>Driving airside to deliver catering products safely and on time to aircraft</li><li>Liaising with cabin crew to facilitate the transfer of catering equipment to and from aircraft</li><li>Occasional delivery of stock to other UK units</li><li>Working as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment to meet operational deadlines</li></ul>Please note: duties may include, but are not limited to, the above. RequirementsTo undertake this role, you must have:<ul><li>A full UK Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence (no more than 6 points)</li><li>Valid Driver CPC</li><li>A positive team‑focused attitude</li><li>The ability to work to tight deadlines</li><li>Adequate numeracy and English skills</li></ul>A driving assessment will take place prior to interview.
