HGV Class 2 Driver - Bedford

📍 Location: Bedford

💰 Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour |

⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am Starts | 37 Hours per Week

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a client in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with excellent pay rates and overtime opportunities.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for supporting essential local services by completing waste and recycling collection routes safely and efficiently. A hands-on approach is required, as you may also be asked to assist with loading duties as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle on designated collection routes
• Completing waste and recycling collections safely and efficiently
• Assisting with loading activities when required
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
• Providing a professional and reliable service at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous waste, recycling or dustcart experience is advantageous but not essential
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist operationally
• Good local knowledge of Bedford and surrounding areas is beneficial
