Hourly Rate: £16-£20 per hour (depending on your culinary talent!)

The Role:

Are you passionate about great food, fresh ingredients, and the buzz of a busy kitchen? Whether you're a seasoned chef picking up extra shifts, searching for steady hours, or between roles and eager to stay hands-on - we've got just the opportunity for you.

We're currently looking for chefs who can work in Derby on shifts running 8am to 2pm - ideal for those who enjoy early starts and finishing with the afternoon ahead of them.

🍳 What you'll be cooking up:

* Preparing fresh produce with attention to detail

* Putting your kitchen experience into action during service

* Accepting and storing deliveries correctly

* Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and organised

* Working collaboratively with the team to keep things running smoothly

* Delivering consistently high-quality dishes

* Handling and storing ingredients safely

* Staying composed and efficient during busy services

* Using your own chef whites and knives with confidence

* Maintaining excellent hygiene and health & safety standards

👨‍🍳 What you'll bring to the table:

* Food Hygiene Level 2 (within the last 3 years)

* Confidence working in a professional kitchen setting

* A flexible attitude - happy to support wherever needed

* Strong organisational and time-management skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication skills - clear, confident, and proactive

* Reliable, dedicated, and takes pride in their work

* Previous experience within a catering or kitchen environment
