<h1>Enhanced DBS Cleaner</h1>Location: AlfretonPay Rate: £12.71 per hourHours: Ad hoc shifts - weekdays and weekends, as and when requiredContract: Ongoing temporary work We are looking for reliable and experienced Enhanced DBS Cleaners to support a care home in Alfreton on an ad‑hoc basis. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, takes pride in their work, and can step in to cover shifts during busy periods, holidays, or sickness.<hr /><h2>About the Role</h2>Working within a care home environment, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic setting for residents, staff, and visitors.Typical duties include:<ul><li>Cleaning communal areas, resident lounges, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways</li><li>Sanitising high‑touch surfaces and ensuring infection control standards are met</li><li>Emptying bins and replenishing consumables</li><li>Maintaining cleanliness in staff areas and facilities</li><li>Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns</li><li>Working to strict hygiene and safeguarding procedures</li></ul><hr /><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>Enhanced DBS certificate (essential and in date)</li><li>Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a care, healthcare, or similar environment</li><li>Good understanding of infection control standards</li><li>Ability to work independently with high attention to detail</li><li>Reliability and flexibility to accept shifts at short notice</li><li>Willingness to work both weekdays and weekends when needed</li></ul>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
