Van Driver - Medical Supplies (Temp to Perm)Location: WashingtonWorking Days: Tuesday-SaturdayPay: £12.73 per hour | OT after 48 hours: £19.10 per hourContract: Temp to PermWe are recruiting a dedicated Van Driver to deliver essential medical supplies directly to patients in their homes. This is an important customer-facing role where reliability, professionalism and care are key. What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like<ul><li>Start times vary between 5am and 10am depending on your allocated route. You will receive your confirmed start time the day before.</li><li>You will complete 25-35 deliveries per day.</li><li>Using the provided scanner and tablet, you must ensure all orders are signed in correctly by the patient.</li><li>Deliveries must not be handed to a third party under any circumstances.</li><li>On rare occasions, you may be required to cover a night trunk when the night driver is on annual leave. This is infrequent, and all accommodation and food expenses will be covered.</li></ul> About You<ul><li>12 months' multidrop experience is essential.</li><li>Confident driving skills and the ability to spend long periods on the road.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.</li><li>As you will be handling medical supplies, a basic DBS check is required.</li><li>Must be 21 years or older for vehicle insurance purposes.</li><li>Maximum of 6 penalty points, with no drink or drug driving offences.</li><li>PDA experience is beneficial.</li><li>Flexible and willing to support occasional night trunk cover when required.</li></ul> Hours &amp; Pay<ul><li>9-hour shifts, Tuesday to Saturday.</li><li>£12.73 per hour basic rate.</li><li>£19.10 per hour overtime after 48 hours per week.</li><li>Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.</li></ul> <h2>If you are looking for an exciting new opportunity please apply today!</h2>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
