<h2>Technical Support Agent</h2><p><strong>Location:</strong> Ashby-de-la-Zouch (Office-based)</p><p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> £14.00 per hour</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (1-hour paid lunch)</p><p> </p><p>We are currently recruiting for a <strong>Technical Support Agent</strong> to join a busy and growing support team on an initial temporary basis of at least 3 months. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in software or technical support who is confident dealing with customers and looking to gain experience within a structured support environment.</p><p> </p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for incoming support queries</li><li>Handle customer enquiries via phone and live chat</li><li>Log and raise support tickets for the wider technical team</li><li>Provide clear, professional communication and manage customer expectations</li><li>Escalate issues appropriately and ensure accurate documentation</li><li>Confidently advise customers when further investigation or follow-up is required</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Previous experience in <strong>technical or software support</strong> (essential)</li><li>Strong communication skills and confidence handling customer calls</li><li>Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced support environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail when logging and managing tickets</li></ul><h3><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></h3><ul><li>Experience supporting ERP systems</li><li>Exposure to structured support/helpdesk environments</li></ul><h3><strong>Additional Information</strong></h3><ul><li>This role will initially be office-based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch</li><li>Full training will be provided on specific areas of the product set</li><li>While this is a temporary position, there may be potential for longer-term opportunities for the right candidate</li></ul><h3><strong>~ APPLY TODAY! ~</strong></h3><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
