Are you an experienced HR professional available at short notice and looking for a short-term assignment where you can make an immediate impact? 📍 Flexible base ⏰ Full-time (35 hours)📆 Temporary placement : 6 to 8 weeks💷 £36,636 - £40,968 depending on experience with weekly pay This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys operational HR work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently support managers across a wide range of employee relations matters. <h3>🔍 About the Role</h3>As a Temporary HR Officer, you'll provide frontline operational HR advice and guidance to managers across the organisation. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and trade unions, supporting day-to-day HR activity and contributing positively during a busy period. <h3>✅ Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Providing HR advice in line with policies and employment legislation</li><li>Supporting discipline, grievance, attendance, and performance management processes</li><li>Advising on restructuring, redundancy, redeployment, TUPE, and ill-health retirement</li><li>Attending hearings and appeals where required</li><li>Supporting the HR mailbox and helpline on a rota basis</li><li>Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times</li><li>Building effective working relationships with managers and trade unions</li><li>Assisting with HR data analysis, reporting, and job evaluation as required</li></ul><h3>👤 What We're Looking For</h3><ul><li>Proven experience in an operational HR environment</li><li>Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice</li><li>Confidence in advising and coaching managers</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to manage workload independently and hit tight deadlines</li><li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and SharePoint)</li><li>CIPD membership or working towards CIPD (desirable)</li></ul>If you are interested in this position please apply directly, or call Aimee at Blue Arrow Inverness on 01463 240590.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
