<h2><strong>Job Title: Night Cleaner</strong></h2><p><strong>Location:</strong> Southampton (University Campus)</p><p><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Monday to Friday, 22:00 - 05:00</p><h3><strong>Overview</strong></h3><p>We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Night Cleaners to support the upkeep of a busy University campus in Southampton. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Carry out general cleaning duties across campus buildings, including lecture halls, offices, communal areas, and restroom facilities</li><li>Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors to a high standard</li><li>Clean and sanitise surfaces, touchpoints, and shared spaces</li><li>Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper</li><li>Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with health and safety guidelines</li><li>Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly</li><li>Ensure all tasks are completed within allocated timeframes</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high standards</li><li>Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions</li><li>Ability to work independently during night hours</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and committed to attendance</li><li>Awareness of health and safety practices</li></ul><h3><strong>What We Offer</strong></h3><ul><li>Consistent night shift working pattern (Monday-Friday)</li><li>Supportive working environment</li><li>Training provided</li><li>Opportunity to work within a well-regarded University setting</li></ul><p> </p><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
