Support officer required!Salary: £14.20phLocation: City Hall, BS1Hours: Tuesday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm (3 days a week)Till March 2027Purpose of the jobTo provide support to a disabled employee who is deaf with a cochlear implant, has a visual impairment and learning difficulties to enable them to carry out their Business Support Assistant duties effectively. Key job outcomes/accountabilities* To work collaboratively to support a visually and hearing-impaired colleague with administrative tasks as laid out in the Business Support Assistant job description.* To assist the visually and hearing-impaired colleague with:- making written and visually presented information accessible - communicating effectively with colleagues, senior management, internal customers and external agencies via emails and Teams. - operating all equipment required for the job safely and effectively. - actioning business support tasks. - accessing data from database - scanning documents and uploading to database. - the use of specialist software - supporting visitors attending to the team at City Hall - using outlook to respond to emails to external stakeholders - creating legal bundles - transcription support* This is an office-based role based at City Hall.Must have support experienceApply today.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
