Hourly rate: £12.71phShifts: Monday - Friday Contract type: Temporary We are currently looking for catering assistants to work in schools in the Stoke-on-Trent.This is a great opportunity for an individual with previous experience in catering to work within school hours. This role does require a full Child Enhanced DBS (or you must be willing to undergo one - we can support with this process but a small cost to you) General assistant duties Ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen at all timesAssisting with serving lunchesFollowing all health and safety proceduresKeeping surfaces clean and tidyClearing tablesOperating tillsFood preparation The ideal candidate will: Be able to work within a fast-paced environmentBe punctualHave excellent communication skillsAble to multi-taskAble to work well both in a team and independentlyPolite and friendlyAble to build good relationshipsHave great customer service skills Travelling:Ideally you will have your own transport but there are bus routes in the area - please check your local services before applying.
