Drivers Mate - Wetherby

Blue Arrow are currently seeking Driver's Mate required in Wetherby on the following details.

Location: Wetherby, LS23

Pay Rate: £13.48 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 05:00-15:00

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing - full‑time hours

The Role

We are currently recruiting Driver's Mates to join our warehouse client based in Wetherby (LS23). In this hands‑on role, you will work closely with a Driver to deliver beverages to pubs, clubs, bars, hotels, and restaurants across the region. No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a friendly, hardworking team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting drivers with daily deliveries to customer premises
• Loading and unloading stock safely and efficiently
• Supporting route navigation and manoeuvring where required
• Interacting with customers to review and confirm delivery orders
• Resolving delivery queries, including missing or damaged items
• Using handheld technology and paperwork to accurately confirm orders
• Maintaining a professional, customer‑focused, and safety‑first approach at all times

About You

• Able to carry out heavy lifting as part of daily duties
• A reliable team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Strong numeracy, literacy, and organisational skills
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service
• Comfortable using handheld devices and basic technology
• Eligible to handle alcohol products (minimum age requirement applies)
