General skills:As a Community Works Operative, you will have:*Excellent Work Ethic*Good fitness levels for lifting and shifting*Active listening and effective communication skills*Able to confidently work in a team but also individually Main Duties/Responsibilities:*Loading behind Refuse/Recycling Lorry*Street scene management*Working at a Household Recycling Centre/Transfer Station or Landfill*Collection of bulky items and fly tipping removal.*Deliver/Uplift Recycling/Refuse containers*Basic record keeping or other administrative duties as required*Uplift of animal carcasses*Any other work as directed by Supervisor/Foreperson.
