We are seeking an experienced and caring head cook to provide nutritious, well‑balanced meals and snacks for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The role includes menu planning, meal preparation, catering for special dietary needs, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness. <ul><li>Hours: 37.5 hours per week</li><li>Salary: £27,213 per year</li><li>Annual Leave: 25 days per year plus 8 Bank Holidays</li></ul><h3>Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:</h3><ul><li>Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent)</li><li>Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking or equivalent</li><li>City &amp; Guilds 706/1 and/or 706/2 (or equivalent)</li><li>Knowledge of the nutritional needs of young children</li><li>Experience working in a busy kitchen environment (nursery or school desirable)</li></ul> Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
